For over twenty years, Dr. Pison has worked as a trainer in integrated communications systems and organizational development specializing in communication skills and team-building. Working with industry professionals, Dr. Pison develops on-site and computer-based training (CBT) programs for writing budgeting and finance proposals, organizational development, project management, and business communications. Dr. Pison has developed software training programs in areas such as Computer Security and Avoiding Sexual Harassment for use on training platforms adapted for the Internet, Intranet, and Extranet. Dr. Pison has published extensively on the application of internet technology to training and development in leading journals such as Circuits and Design (an IEEE publication), the Transponder, and Security Concerns, and initiated the monthly column, Tech Tools, for Technology and Skills Training magazine, the largest paid-circulation training magazine in the U.S. Dr. Pison was also Technical Editor, The ASTD Lamplighter, an award-winning publication on current trends in human resource training and development. Currently, Dr. Pison works as Research Director for responsebydesign.com, a New York-based on-line marketing and advertising agency. Dr. Pison is also Adjunct Professor of Communications at the New York Institute of Technology, where he teaches graduate level courses such as Integrated Marketing Communications, Writing for Public Relations, and International Advertising in the Graduate Program in Communications. |
